Collaborating with independent distributors, our recent productions include the critically acclaimed musical drama Queer Parivaar which earned the Best British award at the Iris Prize 2022. Queer Parivaar had its world premiere at Oscar and BAFTA qualifying festivals such as BFI Flare, Outfest LA, and 25 other international film festivals across Korea, India, Canada and the USA. The film was made available on Film4.

We also produced a television short film Sent to Cov for Sky, and Stockholm now streaming on Dekkoo, which world premiered at BFI Flare 2022. Our involvement extended to providing production support for the Netflix documentary Peach Paradise, contributing to the success of the BAFTA-nominated ITVX documentary Always Asifa, producing the Tribeca-nominated film His Hands and co-producing the no.1 dyslexia film in the world, Mical, a nominee at LA Shorts with over 1.7million views on Youtube.

As a company, we have created music and fashion films with emerging and renowned artists. Our music and fashion promo division has worked with musicians of all genres from Big Zuu, Billy Cullum, Jason Kwan, Tia Kofi and The Vivienne and artists such as Gemma Chan, Lily James, Dominic Cooper, Lea Seadoux and Kaya Scodelario to name a few.

    FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR

    Darius Shu is British East Asian producer, director and cinematographer.

    He focuses his storytelling on driving societal conversations forward. He does this by incorporating a blend of social awareness and surrealism elements into his films.

    Through the power of visual storytelling, Darius aims to create a positive representation of underrepresented communities. Some notable examples of his recent projects as a cinematographer are the BAFTA-nominated ITVX documentary Always, Asifa and the Netflix documentary Peach Paradise. He also produced the award-winning Queer Parivaar, which was the winner of the Best British Film award at the Iris Prize 2022, Stockholm which was officially selected at BFI Flare 2022 and co-produced Mical, the no.1 dyslexia short film in the world with over 1.7million views.

    Darius's directorial debut short film His Hands was nominated for Best Narrative Short at Tribeca Film Festival 2019. His second short film I Am Norman was selected at the Rhode Island International Film Festival 2021. His latest short film, Appy Ever After, is a sci-fi/horror and is due to be released in 2024.
